America Succeeds in Good Company on the Getting Smart Top 60 List

There is much talk about revolutionizing education these days. Plenty of action, too. And the place one goes to get up to speed on the latest is GettingSmart.com, a clearinghouse for educational innovation founded by Tom Vander Ark to shine a light on ideas, action, and results. Read this list to know what you need to know, and who is doing what: Smart List: 60 People Shaping the Future of K-12 Education.

We couldn’t help but notice, with great pride, that quite a number of honorees on the list also happen to be alum from our annual EdVenture, a one-of-a-kind summit that serves as a R&D lab to develop, advance, and collaborate on thought-provoking ideas and innovation in education.

EdVenture is a forum to explore ideas, test concepts, take risks, and embrace new challenges to bolster collective efforts to improve schools. By invitation, we convene leaders, thinkers, and doers in the continuous improvement of our education system.

Also making the list are a whole host of other friends, partners, and collaborators, and we want to congratulate—and thank—these thought leaders for the great work they do.

This is just a small sample—we encourage you to check out the full list of talented leaders doing transformative work to improve educational delivery, outcomes, and impact for all kids. Thanks to GettingSmart.com for recognizing these education champions.
