This year, America Succeeds pivoted from Shark Tank and hosted the first EDventure Prize. The Prize was created as a way to provide funding to an organization who identified a problem at the local, state, or national level and proposed an innovative solution for solving said problem. All in all, more than 20 organizations from across the country applied, and a selection committee chose 3 finalists to pitch their ideas in front of a group of prize funders at this year’s EDventure Summit.
Finalists included Edunomics Lab, Mastery Transcript Consortium, and Ready Colorado.
While all 3 finalists proposed innovative solutions to varying pain points in the education space, we’re excited to share the 2019 EDventure Prize winner who took home $50,000 in funding – Ready Colorado.
We congratulate Ready Colorado for winning the top prize and are excited to see your Daily Show-style video series on the truth about ed reform brought to life.
Another special thanks to our EDventure Prize funders who made the night possible!
Lastly, mark your calendars for EDventure 2020! We will be hosting next year’s summit in Boise on September 23-25, 2020.
