America Succeeds recently partnered with Intuit on a case study to articulate the effectiveness of their design-thinking summer camp, Design for Delight, in cultivating Durable Skills.
The America Succeeds team brought in our friends at Getting Smart to do a thorough review of the Design for Delight programming and curriculum to develop a deep understanding of the course, its goals, and the expected skill attainment of course participants before we headed to San Diego to experience the camp in-person. View our findings in the full case study below.
These durable skills apply anywhere: entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, family, education. You are more valuable to employers if you can solve problems as you go. Problems are not static. When your problems fight, you have to know how to fight back.
Tomorrow’s workforce will have to continuously evolve to survive. It’s in our best interest if we do the work necessary to future-proof them today.”
